In the case of these stores which are Ambleside and Betws-y-Coed, we received a brief from our clients Outdoor Sports Company which are Sprayway, Oboz and Trekmates to look at a re-furbishment scheme to create a good brand image for each company and upgrade the store for the owners.

The products demanded flexibility in display without using standard fittings such as “Slatwall” etc. EXT devised an adaptable system which involved lining the existing walls and cladding in a solid Oak board which would accept a shelf system. Shelves were then manufactured with a laser etched front face featuring the Oboz logo to complete the display. Stewart Cunningham’s required both stores to be open during the project and the EXT team worked overnight in the Betws-y-Coed venue and sectioned off the Ambleside store. In addition, the order to “go ahead” with the projects only allowed 5 days before the very important “half term holidays” and we delivered with time to spare.
