Our first tasks were to liaise with building control and the local council on fire safety, security, health and safety, access, waste and rubbish removal. A full planning application was submitted to the Lake District National Park Authority for the removal and installation of a new shop front all prepared and submitted by EXT.

The store layout design was driven by the Joules Team with detailed plans and a 170 page corporate guide on finishes, materials, fittings.

EXT have worked with a number of tried and trusted tradesmen for many years, from electrical installation, Aircon, floor-laying, plastering, decorating, to tiling, plumbing and signwork. We work as a team with complete liaison, trust and commitment to bring in the perfect finish on time and the Joules project attracted a comment from the Joules Merchandising Manager “we’ve never had a flawless set up like this, it was a pleasure to work with these guys”.

EXT employ a small team of dedicated and time served tradesmen with many years experience in both the shopfitting/residential and exhibition field, we know our business and enjoy our work. The clients wishes are paramount, we work with the client to the same goal and the Joules project was no exception under difficult circumstances.
